TC7000-A Pressure Calibrator Fittings (-0.095 to 250) MPa

TC7000-A pressure calibrator fittings banner

The TC7000-A pressure calibrator fittings sit between a pressure source and the instrument under test:
stainless steel adapters and connectors that take a line from -0.095 MPa vacuum to 250 MPa and hold it tight at the instrument thread. No electronics, no power supply, nothing to calibrate – just the joint that everything else depends on.

A calibration run fails at the joint, not at the display

A 0.05% gauge tells you nothing once the fitting behind it is leaking, creeping or cold-flowing under torque. Three things go wrong in practice, and all three are connection problems:

  • Thread mismatch. An M20 x 1.5 instrument will not seat on a G1/2 port, and forcing it damages both. Adapters exist because instrument threads are not standardised across makers or markets.
  • Sealing at the top of the range. PTFE tape and soft washers that behave at 4 MPa extrude, weep or blow out long before 250 MPa. A joint that holds vacuum is not automatically a joint that holds 250 MPa, and the reverse is also true.
  • Repeatability across runs. Every time a joint is broken and re-made, the seal is new. If the hardware is improvised, the leak rate changes with it – and a slow leak looks exactly like drift on the instrument you are trying to certify.

What these pressure calibratior fittings does

Adapts instrument thread to source thread

Stainless steel adapters and connectors bridge the thread on your gauge, transmitter or switch to the port on the pump or pressure controller, so the instrument sits directly on the pressure line.

Holds the full -0.095 to 250 MPa span

One set covers vacuum through 250 MPa hydraulic work, which means vacuum checks and high-pressure hydraulic checks can share the same connection hardware.

Stainless steel, made to be re-torqued

The bodies are stainless steel rather than brass, so repeated make-and-break cycles and long exposure to water, oil or air media do not chew up the threads.

Passive by design

No power, no battery, no warm-up and no firmware. The fitting adds no uncertainty of its own; it only has to not leak.

Send the thread specification or a photo of the port and we will confirm the matching configuration before the order is released. Matching a set to your instrument Four details decide the configuration. They take a minute to collect and they prevent a returned order: The instrument thread - for example M20 x 1.5, G1/2 or 1/4 NPT, male or female, and whether the sealing face is flat, conical or O-ring. The source port - the connection on the pump, dead-weight tester or pressure controller the set has to mate with. Maximum pressure and medium - 250 MPa hydraulic and -0.095 MPa air put different demands on the same fitting, and the seal has to suit the medium. Space and orientation - a panel-mounted gauge and a bench transmitter often need different adapter lengths to clear the housing. Where it is used Calibration laboratories connecting gauges, transmitters and switches to a pressure standard or dead-weight tester. OEM production benches where instruments are verified before shipment and the connection is broken dozens of times a day. Field service, where the source is a handheld or benchtop pressure source and there is no bench to clamp the instrument to. High-pressure hydraulic verification up to 250 MPa, where soft seals and improvised adapters are not an option. The set is designed to work with the rest of the YHTC range - the pressure test and calibration pumps on the source side and the digital pressure gauges and calibrators on the reference side - but it is a mechanical part: any instrument with a matching thread and sealing face can be connected with it. Matching a set to your instrument

Thread, medium and maximum pressure decide which pressure calibrator fittings you need

  1. The instrument thread – for example M20 x 1.5, G1/2 or 1/4 NPT, male or female, and whether the sealing face is flat, conical or O-ring.
  2. The source port – the connection on the pump, dead-weight tester or pressure controller the set has to mate with.
  3. Maximum pressure and medium – 250 MPa hydraulic and -0.095 MPa air put different demands on the same fitting, and the seal has to suit the medium.
  4. Space and orientation – a panel-mounted gauge and a bench transmitter often need different adapter lengths to clear the housing.

Where it is used

These pressure calibrator fittings are used wherever an instrument has to be proved against a known pressure:
  • Calibration laboratories connecting gauges, transmitters and switches to a pressure standard or dead-weight tester.
  • OEM production benches where instruments are verified before shipment and the connection is broken dozens of times a day.
  • Field service, where the source is a handheld or benchtop pressure source and there is no bench to clamp the instrument to.
  • High-pressure hydraulic verification up to 250 MPa, where soft seals and improvised adapters are not an option.

The set is designed to work with the rest of the YHTC range – the pressure test and calibration pumps on the source side and the digital pressure gauges and calibrators on the reference side – but it is a mechanical part: any instrument with a matching thread and sealing face can be connected with it.
